So, after around more than half a year, I’m sorta kinda back on Tumblr. Posting an entry just for the sake.

I left for a number of reasons.

First, because it seemed to take too much of my time; time that could have been spent studying for the college entrance exams. Speaking of that, I passed everywhere I applied to except for the University of the Philippines. Not that I was considering to actually study there, but of course, getting a slot in the country’s most premiere state university would have been a great honor.

Anyway, I’ve decided to major in AB Management Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University. It might come off as a huge surprise to most of the people I know, since I’ve appeared to have been extremely partial towards going to De La Salle University. I have my reasons, though. I’ll admit that it was quite hard to let go of what I’ve been dreaming to do since I was a preteen, but I guess what happened is just a living proof of the fact that things change over time. Just sharing. Enough about my life.

Second, because majority of the posts on my dashboard, although they spoke what my heart felt, were negatively affecting me. Yeah, they may be the truth, they may express what I’ve been feeling recently, but seeing them and constantly being reminded of the dark part of my life just wasn’t good for me. They made me feel nore miserable and dejected than I already was. It never brought a positive impact on me, and I couldn’t take seeing them anymore. Bottom line is that I just wanted an escape from reality. I guess I was a weakling then. But whatever, I’m not denying that.

Last, because I wanted more “me time” for recreation. Yes, there’s a difference between time allotted for work and play. More time to do other recreational activities, like read the books on my list, catch up with old friends, and finish watching TV series. I used to spend hours on this site and it was beginning to take a toll on everything… and so I let go. There. 

As for the reasons why I decided to come back, that deserves another post. I’m sorry I’m so complex. There’s always a lot going on within. Haha! I won’t be here as much as I used to, but I’ll drop by more often. No harm in that, anyway.
